About Tilde Loop

Tilde Loop is a Split-based JavaScript consultancy comprised of experienced engineers, specialising in modern application development. We are looking for key engineering team members with a strong background in JavaScript and React, as well as a thorough understanding of web development best practices.

We leverage multiple JS frameworks but this position is focusing on React and Next.js. While prior experience with Next.js is beneficial, we encourage individuals who are eager to learn and explore this technology further to get in touch with us. We provide a supportive environment and ample resources to help everyone excel in both React and Next.js.

As a JavaScript Engineer, you will be hands-on developing software products. As a result, you will need to be able to work on large-scale, multiple industries, startup and enterprise-level software development projects using languages and technologies such as JavaScript and React.

Requirements

• At least 2 years’ commercial experience with ReactJS (or similar)
• Strong proficiency in Javascript and TypeScript
• Strong understanding of CSS
• Strong understanding of web development best practices, including performance optimization, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
• Good understanding of Node.js and microservice architecture
• Experience in writing unit tests
• Interest and ability to learn best practices in software development
• Good communication skills
