Business Development & Sales Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven professional to join our team as a Business Developer & Sales Specialist in the IT sector.

This role requires a unique blend of business development acumen and sales expertise to drive the growth of our product.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities, building strategic partnerships and delivering tailored solutions to clients.

We plan on launching the product in the tourism sector used by both tourists and locals. The product is already well established on other market and has a rising user base.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for growth
  • Analyze competitor activities to inform business development strategies.

Lead Generation and Qualification:

  • Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, and participation in industry events.
  • Qualify leads based on their alignment with the company’s IT products and services.

Client Engagement and Needs Assessment:

  • Engage with potential clients to understand their business needs and challenges.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to customize IT solutions to meet client requirements.

Product Knowledge and Presentation:

  • Maintain a deep understanding of our product.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.

Proposal Development and Negotiation:

  • Negotiate terms and conditions, ensuring win-win agreements for both parties.

Strategic Partnership Development:

  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with other firms, vendors, or complementary service providers.
  • Collaborate on joint ventures to expand market reach and enhance service offerings.

Sales Pipeline Management:

  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, tracking leads from initial contact to deal closure.
  • Regularly update the CRM system with the latest information on client interactions.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients
  • Act as a trusted advisor, offering ongoing support and identifying opportunities for upselling.

Technology Adoption Strategies:

  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry innovations.
  • Develop strategies for the effective adoption of new technologies by clients.

Post-Implementation Follow-Up:

  • Conduct post-implementation follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction with IT solutions.
  • Gather feedback for continuous improvement and identify opportunities for additional services.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development and sales, with a strong preference for candidates who have more than 3 years of relevant work experience (in the IT sector is a strong plus)
  • Strong understanding of IT products, services, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and clients.
