About the Role 

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be a vital part of our operations, responsible for  streamlining processes, maintaining system reliability, and optimizing performance across  our infrastructure. You’ll leverage your expertise in automation, cloud systems, and network administration to deliver secure, high-performing solutions. 

Key Responsibilities 

• System Monitoring & Optimization: 

ο Conduct daily monitoring and log reviews using tools like Datadog to ensure  system health and performance. 

• Automation & Scripting: 

ο Write and enhance automation scripts using Bash and Ansible to improve  deployment and maintenance workflows. 

• Database & Cluster Management: 

ο Administer and optimize Postgres databases, ensuring high availability and  performance. 

ο Test and create secure database backups and repositories. 

• Server Administration: 

ο Manage and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu), ensuring reliability and  security. 

• CDN & Proxy Management: 

ο Optimize and administer CDN systems like Cloudflare and manage proxy  servers using Nginx. 

• Access Management: 

ο Administer user and resource access rights through Azure Entra. 

• Security & Network Administration:

ο Ensure system security through proactive measures and monitoring. ο Manage local office networks, including hardware from Cisco, MikroTik, and  Ubiquiti. 

Key Skills & Qualifications 

• Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in Bash scripting and Ansible for automating  server and network tasks. 
• DevOps Tools: Experience with Consul, Docker, Octopus, RabbitMQ, Git,  TeamCity, and related DevOps technologies. 
• Database Expertise: Skills in Postgres database management and related tools. • CDN & HTTP Technologies: Hands-on experience with Cloudflare, Nginx, and load balancing technologies like F5. 
• Network Administration: Proficient in managing office networks with Cisco,  MikroTik, and Ubiquiti devices. 
• Linux Server Administration: Expertise in managing and optimizing Ubuntu  servers.
